.' The twenty-fifth anniversary of the ■ Trafalgar Lodge* of Druids was cele- , bratedat Wakofiold on Saturday, the . 21st instant. Tho large "attendance was augmented by a party from the • Maitai Lodge,' Nelson, and included a ■.number of brethren who wore instrumental in forming and were present..at the opening of tho Trafalgar Lodge. The North Island Grand Lodge was Represented D.P. Bro. L. M. Estcourt. A.D. Bro. Taylor occupied the chair, and in his opening ■ remarks tendered the visiting brethren a very hearty welcome. After tho toast of "The King" had been honoured, P.S. Bro. W. F. Thomson, of Maitai Lodge, proposed the health of Trafalgar Lodge, and referred to the events which led up to tho formation of the lodge at Wakefiol'd. He was followed by P.D.P. Bro. C. Haggitt, whose reminiscences of tho early history of the lodge were very interesting. In referring to tho pioneers of Druidism in the district, some of whom had gonp to their long rest, he told how .their untiring efforts, although many stoppages occurred on the way, resulted in the formation of this branch 6f the Order, 27 members being initiated at the .opening ceremony. P.D.P. Bro. D. ! Burn, the Father of Druidsm in Wake- - held, responded, and briefly traced the i history of the lodge up to the present I time. The other toasts honoured were i 'The Maitai Lodge," proposed by ! 1 .D.P. Bro. D. Burn and responded -to Iby P.D.P. Bro. 0. Haggitt, and "Ab- , Kent Members," proposed by D.P. Bro. L.
