Tho recognition of' this {'act helped one to understand that the unseen world of ideas was the reality. The merchant valued his credit more than his cash or his goods. That was an idea compounded of justice, honesty and truth. England was fighting for honour and liberty, not for material possessions. To gain control of the material world they must learn more of the idea! world, and study the world of cause rather than the world of effect. The teaching of Jesus Christ was- so absolutely practical that it was not understood, but men were waking up to the fact that the best axiom for business men was the advice "Seek ;ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be daded to you." When natffiions and individuals realised that the principle of supply was universal and available to everyone, just as was ..the principle of numbers, they would have no need to resort to violence or subterfuge. The "New Thought", system of "right thinking" or true prayer taught men to harmonise their lives with the principle of supply or Divine Love which was expressed in the material world as healfh of mind, body and affairs. The speaker said that the German, nation, was. hypnotised •by its leaders who for generations had utilised the law of suggestion by means of schools, churcfies, theatres and tho press to create a colossal instrument for scientific evil-thinking. Ail our great soldiers were agreed that the only power capable of withstanding that terrific force was .national "right thinking" .«• true prayer. He "contended that if the suffragettes had joined themselves together in true prayer, instead of resorting to acts of violence?"* the House of Commons would have speedily granted, that which was just and best to all concerned. The great captains of industry recognised "that an even greater calamity than the present war threatened civilisation in the shape of .iia universal industrial upheaval, and nothing could avail to prevent this bub mutual and collective true thought on the part of labour and capital." The "New Thought" movement" was teaching the people bow to meet the coming peril. He concluded by reiteratinpg that "New Thought" philosophy was in charity with all religions
