An t.vticle ;ii bh9."Wcstfnelische-Zefr tung" bitterly complains of the impotence of the Austro-Hungarian Govern* ments to stem the rising tide of Czechoslovak demands, and gives illuminate ing glimpses of the internal situation in Austria. The article alleges that the Czechs in Bohemia are openly and haughtily pursuing plans for the establishment of an independent Czech state, and that since Britain and America recognised the Czechs' independence the agitation has risen to un, precedented heights and proceeds with such impudence that the^Governmenti dare not take action against 'these . traitors.
