Bis Eminence Cardinal John Farley hod .been Archbishop of New York since 1902. He was born in Armagh, Ireland, in 1842, and was educated in Ireland, New York, and Rome. Or-.daisied-at Rome in 1370, ho returned to the United States, and tilled various appciatnvc-nts. He became Auxiliary Eishop of New York in 1895, and was created a cardinal in 1911.
