An interesting programme was fur-nished-by the boys'• section of the Nelson Junior Choral Society, under the direction of Mr John Tait. The items were is follows:—Pari" songs, "Merry June," "A. Welcome to. Morn,"' and "The Soa Shore"; plantation, songs, "My Old Kentucky Home" and "The Old' Folks at Home" ; 'unison, song and chorus, "A Fine Old English Gentleman" ; song, -''Golden Slumbers," Master John Scott; flute solo, Gounod's "Aye Maria,' Master Leslie Roth well; and humorous sketch.- "'Washing Day,' Masters Cpoke,. Scott, and C. and L. Tait. After tliis 'entertainment, good business was done at the stalls, and the' refreshment marquee was well- patronised. ■'.: ' :'- ■ ■~ '
