COLLINGWOOD CO-OPERATIVE DAIRY COMPANY, LTD.

(From "The Colonist," August 26th.) The annual meeting of shareholders in this company was held at Aorcre Hail, Itockville, on August 21st, Mr A. J. Clear, the chairman of directors, presiding. ». ' ■ The balance-sheet for tho past season showed the amount of net profit made to bo £7260 8s Id, and at the close of the meeting £7062 12s 3d was paid to shareholder suppliers, being an additional payment of 7£d per 1b for butterfat and o per cent interest on share capital. The total amount paid during the season for butter-fat was Is 8d per lb. Various matters were discussed at the meeting, notably the erection of new factories at Kockville and Ferntown, and this" was left in the hands of the directors to see the works carried through:

There were three vacancies on the directorate, and a poll'was taken with the following results:—W. A. Scott, 234; W. D. Sc-rimgeour, 201; L. Flowers, 102; L. Skilton, 94; M. H. J. Skilton, 73: J. C. Hickmott, 66; 3. Richards, 43.' Messrs. Scobt, Scrimgeour and Flowers were elected.

A vote of thanks .to Mr F. W. Field, who has;.been a, director from the formation cl" the company, and who retired this year, and to Mr. Curie, the dairy division inspector, who attended the meeting to give general information to the shareholders, terminated the meeting- •. . • .
