LABOUR CONFERENCE ON COST OF LIVING.
[United Press Association.] Wellington, Sept. 10. The _ Wellington Trades and Labour Council, as the result* of -a letter from the New Zealand Locomotive Engineers and Firemen's Association, has decided to convene a conference of trade union representatives next.week to discuss the question of the cost of living. The locomotive men point "but the necessity of asking the Government to check 'the evil of the increasing cost of the necessaries of life in New Zealand. j
