FISK JUBILEE SINGERS.

Music-lovers will hail with delight the _ news that the world-famed Fisk Jubilee Singers will reappear in Nelson after an absence of many years. This company was. established about 3-5 years ago by the 3 ate Sir Jean McAdoo. and has been touring the world ever since. Death has" removed all but two of the original bandj which came to Australasia from America, the musical director (Professor C. A .White) and Miss Belle Gibbons, the lady baritone singer and leader of the Jubilee Choruses, being the only survivors. In all the years the Fisks have been appearing before the public it is doubtful whether they were ever stronger than at present, as a number of new singers have been en-j gaged, and the company is now ten strong and every performer is a first rate artist. It has ju&t concluded a successful season through the North Island and no doubt when they open at the Theatre-Royal on-Monday, the 16th inst. there will be a. bumper house to v.elcom-j them.. The box plan..will open. at iToufisell's on Thursday, the 12th."
