GERMAN ADVANCE IN RUSSIA.
There is » marked revival of activity on the whole of the Western front, from the sea to the Mtuv, particularly in the French and American sector where the Germans delivered repeated attacks in force, with, generally disastrous consequences to themselves. There has been considerable air fighting, in which the Allies retain supremacy. The Austrians are gradually effecting the destruction of Venice by air attacks. Another prolonged raid resulted in heavy damage. The German advance in Russia has been resumed with full vigour. Nothing has yet been officially announced regarding Japanese intervention, which is expected in Siberia.
