ANNUAL RACE MEETING
Given fine weather the Nel&on Trot-
■ ting Club's annual race meeting, to«bc held at Richmond Park this afternoon, -^hould prove $ groat success. The programme comprises eigl t events, tho first being timed to start at 1 p.m. Very satisfactory acceptances have been receivnl, :u:cl tlie puoiic- should be provided with scur-e interesting racing, tho track being in excellent order.
Tho olub was unable to make arrangements with the Railway. Depart3«ent for the i.'sn.al special train, but the ordinary trains leave Nelson" at 10 a.m. and i.2[) p.m., Special conveyances will leave Nelsor in time to reach the course before tie first race. A special marque lias been erected on the lawn for the convenience ol ladies. Afternoon tea will be obtaini'Hft on the ground, and the Messrs. Vitetta brothers have been engaged to supply music. > The1 club osteuds a cordial invitation
