Bu.tter and cheese: Small supply at maximum prices. French and Danish butter, no import trade at present, but resumption of importation Danish anticipated in consequerce of negotiations progressing" between Governments. ,

Hemp: Manila market shows no change.. New- Zealand, demand •is chiefly for parcels already slipped and on spot. High point has sold at auction this week at £96 15s.

Wheat and oats: Market quiet and prices unchanged. Small supply. ;
