HOSTILITIES ON THE DANUBE

Serious fighting is reported from Brest Litovsk hetAveen Russians and Roumanians on the 20th in the vicinity of "Galatz.

The Ninth and a portion of the Tenth Siberian Division attempted to break through in order to regain Russian territory whence .they Avere cut off by the Roumanians.

There Avere heavy artillery actions, and monitors on tlie Danube Avore engaged. The attempts so far have failed. The fighting continues.
