BY Order in Council, made and issued by His Excellency the GovernorGeneral in Council on the Bth day of October, 1917, under the authority of the above Act, it was determined that the respective duties by way of Income-tax and Special War-tax leviable under sections 38 aad 39 respectively of the said Act, should be paid in one sum on Monday, the 28th day of January, 1918, at the office o£ the Commissioner of Taxes, Government Buildings, Wellington; and, in accordance with such Order in Council, I hereby give notice that the said duties will be payablo accordingly. Additional tax will accrue if the tax is not paid en or before 18th February, 1918. The liability to pay is not suspended by any objection.
