The reply in the Reichsrath of Dr. yon Seidler, in which he rejected a Czech resolution in favour of an independent Czech Slovak State, provoked wild scenes. Czech members violently gesticulating, surrounded Seidler, shouting "Liar! Resign!" finally compelling the abandonment of tie speech." Soidler indicated that he had the Emperor's authority to state that every Austrian Government would resist by all means in their power any attempt to establish home rule for the Czechs.
