At the Magistrate's Court to-day a grocer was charged- undpr the Sale of l?ood and Drugs Regulations with selling goods by weight without having plainly marked'on the package the net weight of the contents and the manufacturer's name. The defendant had purchased honey in biiik and run it off .into carton packages to save time in weighing. ■ Mr McCarthy, 5.1v1., held That the package .was a sealed one, and came within the regulations. A line of £5 was inflicted. Notice of appeal was ■given.'
