CHARGES AGAINST RESERVISTS.

Francis Walker, aged 62, has been arrested on a charge that at Korokonui, near Te Awamutu, in June, be incited Gilbert Walker to refuse to render service as a member of the Expeditionary Force. The arrested man is the father of Gilbert Walker, who was arrested about a fortnight ago by constables as «,n alleged military deserter under dramatic circumstances nt Korokonui. when the young man was found to be in possession of ii rearms ruid ammunition. 'The father was remanded on bail. Christchureh, Oct. '24. At the Magistrate's Court to-day T Lennox Robert Wilson was charged -with omployinp; an iinenrollod • First■ Division .Reservist. The defendant pleaded ignorance that the man was not enrolled. The Magistrate said that it was the ■duty of employers to ascertain that their employees were enrolled. As this was the1 first case of the kind in the district lie imposed the 'minimum line of £20.
