LOYAL. WAFATU JUVJfiNILi: LODC'IB The thirty-fifth anniversary of the Loyal "Wakatu Juvenile Lodge, iI.U., 1.0.0. F., was celebrated on evening last, v/lien there was a record rtttondance of members, inciudi?ig a I number of adulb .members from tlie >. Nelson and Howard Lodges. The >Sui perintendont (Bro. W. H. Preboie, j'.J'.U.M.) reported that the Lodge was in a most satisfactory position, having a membership of 76, whilst tno. tot;-J hinds amounted to over £100. After the routine business had been transacted, a social gatlicring was 'heJd. A piano solo^v/as contributed by Bro. Vv. J'rebbleJ after'- which a number of members competed for tho prizes offered for the best recitations, the first beintr- won by Bro. W. Prebble, and the second by Bro. S.. Oldershaw. The first prize for the. brother introducing most new members was won by Bro. A. K. llobb, who also secured the gold medal awarded by the District, and tho second was won by Bro. W. Prebble. At the conclu(sion- liberal refreshments were dispensjed and heartily-appreciated by the meini bers. .
