FRANCE IN NEED OF MUNITIONS

Lord Northcliffe, in an interview, said: "Sir Douglas Haig's smashing blow s will continue, no matter what the'weather is. The Germans will not enjoy rest during the winter. Conditions have changed since General Joffre said France needed men. France now has plenty of men to hold the line, but' she wants America to send millions of tons of munitions, which she needs badly."
