MAORI ENTERTAINMENT.
IN AH) OF MAORI SOLDIERS FOND
A Maori company who have already appeared with much success across tlm Bay will appear in Nelson on the 24th inst., in the School of Music, and give a performance in" aid of Dlie Maori Soldiers' Fund. The programme will include hakas, dances, Maori action songs, etc; It is hoped that these songs and dances illustrative of Maori customs which have now fallen mtoi disuse will attract audiences that will benefit the very worthy object for which they are in this instance revived. A performance will also be given at Richmond on the 23rd inst.
