The bombardment on tbe Flanders front has in creased in intensity, and vague unofficial reports tell of a titanic struggle, eclipsing tbe battles o? the Meuae and the Somme. The French repulsed further attacks on the Ohemin-des-Dames and-on the Meuse, The UussoRoumaiiian resistance has stiffened, and successful coun-ter-offeimives at some points are mentioned- The reports of the cowlition of the Russian Armies are more encouraging. Two of the German raiding air squadron were destroyed when returning to the Kel^ian coast. Powerful wireless plants, evidently used for notifying the movements of oil ships, have been discovered in Mexico.
