Sir Douglas Haig reports: We successfully raided north-east of Gouzeau-

court.

We repulsed raids eastward .•£ Loos, north-east of Armentieres and eastward of Ypres.

The hostile artillery is more active at Gavrelle' and Lens.

Our artillery successfully engaged German troops on the Arras-Cambrai road and north-east of Fresnoy.

We drove off last night two raids north-east of Armentieres.
