AN IMPROVED OUTLOOK.
Sydney, May 19. The Labour Department's reyort shows that practically all the men rendered idle as a.result of the curtailment of public works have been absorbed in other directions.
The continued slump in the building trades is responsible for considerable unemployment, otherwise the labour outlook has improved.
