HELPING HAND SHOP

The Helping Hand Shop made a special effort yesterday in aid of the V.M.C.A. War Work Fund, and it resulted in £34 being raised.. This total included several donations in-cash. The expenses were 13s 4cL -The committee warmly welcome the Wakapuaka ladies as monthly contributors, and thank them for their contributions yesterday. They also thank the ladies of Biiglitwater, Kiver Terrace, Wairoa Gorge, Bichmond, and the Port for fctieir special monthly contributions. Contributions' were also received from Stoke, Bishopdale, Atawrai, Boys' Central Girls' Central, and liampden Street Schools. . The boys, as'usual, worked well. . ■
