Wellington, May 16. The quantities) of frozen meat in, store on April 28th for which no shipping space allocations have "been madp -are as follows:—
North Island: 389,742 quarters beei; 1,636,783 carcases mutton and lamb. The storage capacity, including freezing chani'bers, is 2,879,011 carcases. South,island: 17,572 quarters beef; 1,018,278 carcases mutton and lamb. The storage capacity is 1,491,860 car* cases.
