BODY FOUND IN THE HARBOUR.

While working, at his motor launch, on the Boulder Bank yesterday after— noon M r Alexander Stuart observed the body of a man floating in towards the shore on the rising tide. It was lAeiC?ver1 Aei C? vere 1 d and removed to the morgue. Although, the body was somewhat disngured it had evidently not been in the water very W as a "New Zealand n-uth" dated xviay 12th was found in one of the deceased's pockets. __The body has been"•'identified by Mr H. F. West, chemist, as that of * Ben Dowle. The deceased was about 60 •• i years of age. His wife died at Christchurch a' few months ago, and it'is said that-this had worried him a good deal He has a, sister living in New Zealasdl It is understood that he was in receiptor money from property in the South. An inquest will be held at the Courthouse tins morning.
