Christchurch, May 16. The trial of Charles Butler, charged with the murder of Henrietta Foster, on a farm near Oxford, commenced today in the Supreme Court. The prisoner pleaded not guilty Evidence was given on the lilies of the preliminary trial. The case for the Crown will las"fc all day.
