The cutting off of the suburban railway services1 at night is proving a very serious matter for Auckland,' where such a big population lives in the rnil■vvay suburbs. It is felt that Aiu-k-Jand is hit with invidious severity, for no other city in New Zealand usos the •suburban train services so much.
