London, May 9. Mr Bonar Law, in introducing the vote of credit -for £500,000,000, said that the expenditure recently exceeded the estimate. The average daily expenditure at prcsent«"was £7,450,000, of which £2,000,000 went to the Allies and the Dominions. This exceeded the Budget estimate of such advances by £1,000,000 daily, but he hoped that.the Budget estimate would be realisable, owing to the promptitude of American financial assistance
