Speaking at a luncheon at the Baltic Exchange in London recently, the Prime Minister of New Zealand (the Hon. W. F. Massoy) said that New Zealand sent vast quantities of meat and wool to England, and he would tell them this: Since the British Govment undertook to receive all New Zealand meat, 143 ships fully laden with frozen meat had left Dominion ports, and every one of those ships, with one exception, had arrived. That was something for which they had-to thank the Navy, and in which they could take pride. WHle this meat was leaving New Zealand- they were not depleting thir flocks, and the export could be kept uij undiminished to the end of the war. (Applause.)
