Wellington. April 23. .The, Governor iitfs .received a telegram from the 'Secretary of State for _ the Colonies, notifying that the following resolution was passed unanimously at a riieeting of the Imperial War Oonfer- : eiico held on April 13th: —"That the i Imperial War Conference desires to ; place on record its view that tho resolution of the Imperial Conference passed' on April 20th, 1907, should be modified to permit of India's being fully represented at all future Imperial Confer- : ences, and that the necessary steps ! should bo taken to secure the assent 'of the various Governments in order 'that the next Imperial.Conference may be summoned and constituted accordingly."
