OFFER BY RETURNED SOLDIERS.

I Clsborne, Jan. 12. J Captain Pitt, president of the Returned Soldiers' Association, telegraphed to the Acting-Premier that, in the event of the Government finding it necessary to take control ot tiie waterfront, ho desires to oner the services of the- Rev.urnea Soldiers' Association- iii order to help maintain the supplies to the boys at the front and aid the Motherland m irif pro^ont great crisis. The offer ■is made subject to the approval of the executive, who, he feels confident, will endorse his action.
