In connection with the economy campaign, Harrow and Eton have Leen placed on rations. The tuckshops are not allowed to sell cakes, pastry, or other articles enabling boys to exceed Lord Devonport's allowance, though purchases of jam and sweets are (aJiowed.
The Eton boys, including Prince Henry Leopold of Belgium, have been ordered to limit their expenditure on new clothes. '
