The Norwegian sailing ship Storskog, 2191 tons, and the steamer Ida, 1172 tons, have been sunk. Part of the Ida's crew have landed. The chief mate and the- steward were killed by the submarine's gunfire, t vshich commenced without warning, and continued until the vessel sunk.

The Hanna Larsen, 1311 tons, was also sunk. Nineteen of the crew were landed. The captain and chief engineer were taken prisoner.

Twenty-five of the Vedamore's crew were lost. Tie survivors have been landed.
