A Melbourne Press Association cable reports the death of Mr Frank Allen, who was a member of the First Australian Eleveu.
A Press Association telegram from Christchurch records that ex-Police Inspector Robert J. Gillies died on Saturday morning aged 67. He retired in 1911.
Word has beon received that Lieutenant R. McGlashen, of Motueka, is now progressing favourably in Broekenhurst Hospital, England.
