Special holiday progi-animes; for the Christmas season at the Theatre Royal have been arranged by the management of the People's Pictures. To-night the leading attraction will be a 5000 ft Broadway feature entitled "The Ways of the .World,"I'and the programme will also include the eighteenth episode' <jf; ''The Broken Coin," and -the latest. War Gazettes and topical films. At the matinee this afternoon each child will: receive a gift. , ... -i Christmas Night's programme will be; headed 'by Dickens's' evergreen story, "A Christmas Carol," in picture form, as produced by the London Film Company. Another item in this programme will be a Famous Players feature'entitled "Snobs,'' in which appears Victor Mooro, who made .such a favourable impression as Cbimmie the Bowery Boy not long ago. "Mep-'s Curse," by Ella -Wheeler. Wilcox, will , also be shown in a film version. For this programme suitable musical num- ' bers have 'been selected by Signor J. ' Vitetta. On Boxing Night there will be another complete change of bill^-and "The Love Mask," 5000 ft, by Famous Players, will be screened for tho first time in Now Zealand. Among the supporting items will be comedies, light dramas and topical pictures, which have just j been received by mail. Prices of ad-1 mission will remain unchanged. '
