REFUSAL TO ASSIST

Sydney, Dec. 21. The Political Labour League has declined to assist the 'Recruiting Committee, stating that owing to certain works closing down, it is suspected that concerted movements have been commenced by the discredited and nonrepresentative State and Federal Governments to force the people into.a position where enlistment will be the only alternative to starvation.
