IMPROVEMENTS TO- PREMISES.

Considerable improvements have recently been made-to tho. Nelson Fruit Company's premises in Hardy street. The old shop front and a side passage which led to the back of the building have been removed, and new shows windows.; on modwn lines, covering the whole frontage, have boon put in. Tho. boat is supplied from a rinir sot on a concrete base, in fireproof "walls, and the cases being placed in racks, tho fruit can bo mevod about si<s it <;rsirfu*llv ripens, with a minimum of labour. At tlic back of thp offioo and warmingroom si a well-lighted and well-ventil-ated brick bulk .store, with fireproof doors. Tho upstairs poition of the building, formorlv known as the Nelson Camera Club's rooms, has been thoroughly renovated and repainted, and will probably be usod as a, showroom. The shop now presents a fi.no appearance, and is a decided improvement to that portion of Hardy street. Tho alterations were designed by Mr A.
