EVENING ENTERTAINMENTS.
The principal places of amusement were secured by the Executive Committee of the Silver Bullet Cannonade for entertainments last evening in aid of the fund. .
At the School of Music a very fine concert was given, the large audience enjoying a rare vocal and instrumental treat. The vocalists were Mrs Allan Rennoll, Misses Teresa McEnroe, and Wanda Hanby, and Messrs W. J. Salkeld, A. G. Thompson, and George Bush. Mr G. F. Naylor played two organ solos in masterly style. Miss Kathleen Fairhall was the accompanist. The Empire Theatre, where a special programme of pictures - was screened, v; as crowded to overflowing. At the Theatre Royal,, where there was also a large audience, the evo'iing's entertainment comprised pictures and a repetition of the coronation ceremony.
