Wellington, August 15. The following is the Rot. D. C Baies's weather summai'y for the past 24 hours: —Strong south-westerly wind.s have ruled; the weather has been cold and showery -in parts, and atmospheric pressure has increased in the NorthForecast: Present indications are for 'south-westeriv breezes, veering soon by \vvs*t to north, weather cool and _ fair to cloudy, with" increasing; cloudiness and rain' following, "especially on the West Coast find in Southern districts; K.rometer railing soon in tho South.
