THE END APPROACHING.

GROWING BELIEF IN NEUTRAL COUNTRIES.

ROUMANIA ON THE EVE OF

DECISION,

(Australian and N.Z. Gable Association.)

(Received August 16, 0.30 a.m.)

Newi York, August 15

The "New York World's" London correspondent says that advices received by American business men in London indicate a growing belief in neutral countries that we are approaching the end of the war. Most of the forecasts fix the end for early in 1917, but some believe that the war will terminate in November.

The "New York American's" Bucharest correspondent says Houmania is on the eve of decision. The capital is a hotbed of intrigue, and there are spies everywhere. A fresh victory by the Allies would conivnce the waverers and bring Boumania in on the Allies' side.
