The London and Lancashire Fire Insurance Company hqs arranged to acquire the Amalgamated Insurance Company of Australia, Ltd., conditional on the* transfer to the London and Lancashire of 140,000 cut of 160,000 5s fully paid up shares on to the register of the vendor concern before September 13th.
