Hard fighting continues north-east of Pozieres and at Longueval and Pevilie Wood, from which the enemy have heen cleared. The British have, apparently fallen back from a portion of Longueval village, where severe fighting continues. The Erench have made progress east " of Estrees, and there is great activity on the whole front/ The Germans are concentrating, large masses of infantry to meet the next British advance. Fighting continues with great intensity on the tributaries of the Styr. The . Russians' approach to Brody threatens the envelopment of Bothmer's armies.
