Dear Sirs,— ..-It,■ affords me much pleasure «.o •1)6 able to advise you of the great success 1-have.had-frouv : tte 5 fcous of Rockland ..Basle Phosphate Manure which I purchased frbni yon a few c months ago. For many years I have been a larce user of imported superphosi>caW*basie- slag, and various brands of "New Zealand freezing companies' mixtures; but 1 never had sudi marked success from any manures as i have had this season from your Basis Phosphate, in spite of worse weather conditions than have experienced for many years. I used a portion of your manure to TOP DRESS some of my GRAS& LAND, and the balance I used oa oats. One paddock I manured and skufc tip for hay, and despite the dry season from this very old pasture a good crop, from this ver yold pasture a good crop, tthiia • i:nmanured paddocks shut up o-are poor results. I manured one paddock on which I run ray cows regularly and left the others. The paddock which was manured i slwwSd think produces about 25 per cent, more feed than any of the umnanured padlocks. Clovers came in a surprising manner, altiiotigh. clover had not shown to any extent for some years. As well as this, the grass seemed to grow fresher and to contain mors nourishment, as the cows rnilkod better and did better when on the manured pasture. •I had sufficient manure to cover half my OAT CROP, and for the remainder I used a freezing company's special grain manure. The Oats en which I used the Basic Phosphate left the ether sats far behind, and to such a marked extent that people asked «ne what I had done to half my crop. I am so pleased with my success with this mr.ivare that I think every farmer should kv.r-v; of its qualities, and to see this er<: T would be pleased to give every firmer further particulars and show the actual results. I can confidently recommend Rockland Basic Phosphate, 'and my order for the coming season will b© about 5 tons. (Signed) W. W. LIVESAY. j Brightwater, Feb. &&. 1915. j Messrs. Bisley Bros, and Co., Nelson. Dear Sirs, — We have, to advise you of our success with Eockland Basic Phosphate Manure. We purchiised two tons from you, and although late in the season, applied a T-ortioT of it to one-half of our CLOVEE PADDOCK. The other half of this paddock we top-dressed"" with llasic Slag. The difference between the manures was most marked, and we "had a realty wonderful resisft with the Basic Phosphate. Jfhe portion manured with the Basic Phosphate grew .stronger, taller, and the clover .wss bright green, whereas the Basks Ssag^portion' had. a yellowish tinge/and was decidedly inferior. - ..." We are so pleased with our success With t'is manure that we will use large quant-lues during the coming season. (Signed) NEWMAN BROS.. Althougli the paddock was not topdressid tho following year the result was cvt-n more noticeable, which proves that Basis Phosphate is a lasting manure, ■Iliwaka, March 11th, 1915. Messrs. Dear Sirs, — It _afforrlo; me auch pleasure to be .... r.- —i'tbTe" to advise you of. my success with the Roekiand Basic Pho-sphate manure which I purchased from you last July. I used this manure on mv GRAIN CROPS (OATS and WHEAT). The I paddock whore this grain grew is the poorest piece of land on my "property. and during the forty years i have had this pSacs, 5 have never had a crop so good by haif. It is the opinion of the iarmcrs in this neighbourhood that my oat crop is the best in the district, and ;t»y viheat crop is exceptionally good. 5 hats to put this success down to your eiiEic Phosphate.. You car make use oi' this reference :.'> help co make the manure known, as ;;ffcer my success I feel it is the best iJiauure und the chea:>est cm the niarket. (Signed) ALEX.
