SEVERE FIGHTING AT MEDINA

(Received July 23, 11.5 p.m.) Cairo, July 23. There has been severe fighting at Medina. The garrison attempted a sortie, but were driven back with 2500 casualties.
The Shereef's son, Abdiilla, has besieged Et Taif, +he fall of which is believed to be imminent.
