ENEMY'S SECOND LINE STORMED.

THE BREACH WIDENED.

The-.British-renewed the offensive with marked success north-west of Bazentm-le-Petit-, storming and capturing the enemy's seuond line positions on a front of 1,500 yards. East of Longueval the gap in the second line was further widened, and Water]ot Farm, a strong position, was captured. Ovillers-la Boiselle is now entirely in our hands. The German losses were very heavy. Considerable activity is reported in Champagne and Lorraiae. The Russians have broken the German resistance in the region of Svidniki, in Yolhynia, and have advanced on the Lower Lipa.
