Dear Sl^;"^ me mucn pleasure to * >c able to advise yon of the great succei I have had from the o tons of SSiand Basic Phosphate Manure -vhich I purchased from you a few 3s acb. For many years I have lip" a krze user of imported super-nhoihatk;-basic dag. and. various TOP DRESS sonic ot my tlxAbb R TANIX and the balance I used on oats One paddock I manured and shut up 4- hay and despite the dry season M ve?y old■ pasture a gpod crop, norn this ver void pasture a good crop, L £ "nmanured-paddocks shut up ..-ave'poor results. I manured one paddock on which I ran ray cows regulaily -nd loft the others. The paddock X which was manured i should think produces about 25 per cent, more _ feed than any of the unmanured patidocrtS. Clovers came in a surprise manner, although clover had not shown to any p extent' for some years. As well as ?hi? the grass seemed to grow fresher and'to contain more nourishment, as the cows milked better and did better when on the manured pasture. I had sufficient manure to cover Halt miv OVT CROP, and for the remainder I used a freezing company's special y aram manure. The Oats on whiclil I used the Basic Phosphate left the other cats far behind, and to such a marked extent that people asked me what i v had done to half my crop. I am so pleased with my success with . this manure that I think every farmer should know of its qualities, and to see this end I would be pleased to give every farmer further particulars and -,how the actual results. 1 can confivlentlv recommend Rockland Basic Phosphate, and my order for the comrntr season will be about 5 tons. (Signed) W. W. LIVESAY. Brightwater, Feb. 9th.. 1915. Messrs. Bisloy Bros, and Co., Nelson. Oeir Sirs, —~ We have to advise you of our success with Rockland Basic Phosphate Manure. We purchased two tons from you, ana •dthouch late in the season, applied a portion of it to one-half of -our CLOVER PADDOCK. The other half of this paddock we top-dressed with Basic Slag. The difference between the manures was most marked, and we had a really wonderful result with the Basic "Phosphate. -The portion manured with The Basic Phosphate grew • stronger, taller, and the clover was bright green, whereas the Basic Slag portion had a yellowish tinge, and was decidedly inferior. "We are so pleased with our success with this manure that we will use large quantities during the coming season. (Signed) NEWMAN BROS. Although the paddock *vas not top.dressed tin: following year the result was even moie noticeable, which proves that B^sio Phosphate is a tasting manure. Rhvaka, March 11th, 1915. Messrs. Bisloy Bros, and Co., INelson. Deax Sirs, — Ifc affords me ir.uch pleasure to be able to advise you of my success with the Rockland Basic -Phosphate manure which I trarchased from you last July. I used" this manure on my GRAIN CROPS (OATS and WHEAT). The paddock where this grain grew is the poorest piece of land on my property, and during the forty years I have had this place, ! have never had a crop so good by half. It is the opinion of the farmers in this neighbourhood that my oat crop is the best in the district, and my" wheat crop is exceptionally good, fl have to put this success down to your Basic Phosphate. You can 'make use of this reference to help co make the manure .'known, as tifter my success 1 feel it is the best iuanure and the cheapest on the market. (Signed) ALEX. DRUMMOND. Motueka, Jan. 14th, 1915. 'Messrs. Bisley Bros, and Co., Nelson. Dear Sirs, — 1 have great pleasure in advising you of the success 1 have had from the sv.cckland Basic Phosphate which I purchased from you last July. I used the majority on GFIASS PADPOCKS, and I can confidently say that during the tan years 1 hays had this property, I fcase never had half the grass i have had this season, although i have .stocked the ground as heavily ;>.> usual. The "effect of your manure is f.'on more surprising, seeing that the :.-asGn has .been exceptionally dry and .-' general bad year for grass. The t3asic< Phosphate forced the growth of (lover in my paisdocks -//hers clover had not shown for years. I am .so satisfied with the manure that I wiii largely increase my order for the coming season. I will be pleased : i'r any ip.rme.r -wa^tin^ further information i'lii come along and see the K'.ik-S----(Signed) L. FRANCOIS. "We i.vo lar^e Miipir.encs arriving in .Inly. .v> ;g;i-i and September.
