The concluding day of the Wellington races to-day saw a large attendance. During the meeting the totalisator handled £121 ; 349, as compared with £75,318 for the two days two years ago. The weather to-day was good. Though the going was holding, there was some interesting racing. Results :— Talavera Hurdles, 11,I 1, miles: 7 Patronymic 1, 10 Austin 2, 5 Sir Solo 3 Scratched: Arlington, Nicomar. Won by a length and "a half Time, 2.56. . Onslow Handicap, 5 furlongsi.: 1 Bisogne 1, 6 Cherry Blossom 2, 3 Mandoline 3. All started. Time, 1.3 2-5. ' '■ Second Hack a,nd Hunters'. Steeplechase, " 2* miles: 5 Kirkby 1, 2 Darby Paul 2, 9 Critic'^. All started. QueenV Post was favourite. Time, 5.53 2-5. Crofton Handicap, 7 furlongs: 4 Sir Agnes 1, 1 Kukri 2, 8 Coral King 3. Scratched: Otara, Melford, Ballybar. Kukri was a hot fa.vourite. Won by two lengths. Time, 1.35. July Steeplechase, about 3 miles: 4 Vascular 1, 2 Wirokino 2, 1 NewYork 3. Scratched: Darby Paul. New York was. favourite. Won by a length. Time, 6.39 3-5. ' Winter Oats, 1 mile • 4 Ring-form 1, 9 Comely 2, 2 George 3. Scratched> Multifnal. Binogne. Sodd-el-Bahr was n-o.st iri demand.
