RIOTS AT COLOGNE AND AIX.

MANY DEMONSTRATORS KILLED

Demonstrations at Cologne on1 Sunday ended in riots. The military were summoned, and twenty citizens were killed and forty wounded. Many arrests were made. Four policemen were killed.

Many soldiers refused to fire on the

rioters

At Aix-la-Chapelle Uhlans charged rioters who were ransacking shops.
