BELGIAN CHILDREN'S FUND.

Further contributions from Nelson district schools to the Belgian Children's Fund aie acknowledged by the secretary of tlie Education Board as follows :—Amount previously 'acknowledged £88 7s 3Jd, Glenhope £12, Lower Takaka £9 3s lOd, Tarakohe £6 10s, Little Grey £6 ss, Granity £6 2s 9d, Hope £4 2s, Ranzau £3 15s, Inangahua Junction £1 15s 3d ? Millerton £1 15s Id, Inangahua Landing £1 14s 6d. Spring Grove £1 5s 6d, Tahuna £1 4s 3d, Kiwi £1. 0s Cd, Stanley Brook (additional) 2s, 6d, Westport £102 lls; total to date for 29 schools, £247 14s 54d.

"The Westport School's handsome contribution was raised by means of a produce fair. The £12 forwarded from Glenhripe school is also Worthy of special mention, as there are only 14 children attending .the school.
