POSITION STILL UNSETTLED.

Keen interest was taken by members of Parliament in a deputation of thirty dairy factory representatives to the Premier to-day. The spokesman was Mr Morton, chairman of the Kiational Dairy Association. The Premier had ;been" confined to his residence since Friday last, and this was his first public business since then. .After receiving the deputation he immediately returned' home. His appearance under the circumstances indicates the importance of the deputationSpeakers represented- thai when the Government commandeered one-third of last season's output at 7Jd per lb, the remaining part of the output secured an average price of 9ki.
